Seeing occasional freezing for 1-2 seconds after playing for a while on this build. My guess is that the background music routine is crashing.
I don't actually have a playdate unit for testing, so I hope you don't mind if I ask you some questions.
Are you sure this didn't happen with previous builds?
I got mine on Thursday and this is the only build I’ve played.
Ok, so it might have been happening before, but nobody reported it.
It sounds like it could be related to garbage collection.
What makes you think it could be related to the music?
Would you be willing to play-test a new version before I upload it to itch?
Well, the music stops while the freeze occurs, then when the app unfreezes, there is no music. I could definitely test your build, but I'm not 100% certain I could reproduce.

The new version is still showing up as 1.0 on the online side load page, maybe you need to update some more metadata?
